Now a little about myself, I am 54 years old and live in Hamilton Ontario, my main hobbie is FISHING ! Tied in very closely with semi-remote , wilderness canoe trips averaging 5-9 days long. These interests are augmented by my intersest in photography. I used to live in South River on chemical road about 10 km from the Algonquin Park entrance. Thus began my canoe tripping within the park and into many lakes in the area. A few of the lakes visited would be north tea lake , lost dog lake, bigger lake, blue lake, beautiful lake, One a day, manitou lake, meda lake, nahma lake, craig lake, tim lake, rosebary lake, hambone lake, ralph bice lake, little trout lake, and queer lake. All these were visited in the month of may in the pursuit of trout. I must admit that after 20 years and so many lakes some of my memories of these special places are melded together. But thats ok with me.
Since the 'old days' I have switched from brookies to walleye. And my lake of choice has changed to one in the Temagami area. No I will not divulge the exact name. Even in early June you can expect nitetime lows down to +2 and sometimes down to zero. Camping at this time of year could be 20 degrees one day and down to zero at nite the next. Wide temperature changes can cause high winds, downpours, and thunder bangers. Its all part of the experience and I wouldnt have it any other way. But its the glory days that I come for. The days when the water is like glass. The temperature is perfect , and the fish are biting. I hope some of my pictures will show that. This particular lake for some reason has just cast a spell on me . Have a look around and feel free to say hello and sign my guestbook. Larry. P.s.Dont forget to check out my photo gallery. The best way is to click on "slideshow" full view for each album .Enjoy...
